Are you looking after someone who is experiencing mental ill health?
We know it can be difficult to care for a friend or relative who’s experiencing poor mental health. But you’re not alone.

This two-day course will help you to understand mental illness. It will give you the tools to manage your caring role in a more effective way – and ensure you look after yourself, too.
Subjects we’ll cover together include:
  • Understanding ourselves
  • Understanding mental ill health and its effect on how we communicate, see the world, behave and relate to others
  • Dealing with unexpressed emotion
  • Anger Management
  • Healthy coping strategiest
  • Mental Health resourcest
  • Identifying future needst
  • Expressing your emotions in a short art session which will teach you how to relax in a safe environment
Our courses are FREE and include all materials and travel expenses.
