A great night at the Old Lifeboat Bistro on November 28th 2013 what a fantastic evening. Thank you to everybody who supported us. Over 40 people attended and enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner, provided and hosted by The Old Lifeboat Bistro team (what fantastic food and great staff). Special thanks to our speakers Cornwall Councils’ Carer’s Commissioner – Naomi Wakeley, Operations Manager for the Cornwall Carers service – Clare Pawley and Lin and Chris Hunneyball – Carers. We raised 456 pounds from ticket sales, raffle and donations. All this will go to providing free places on our carers course.
Special thanks to the following Cornish businesses for their generous donations: Burroughs & Kearey, Paul Kestle, Cornwall Homeseekers and Agapanthas. Thanks also to Jo Barbary for her donation.
Thanks also to The Old Lifeboat Bistro, SHB Health and Beauty, The Beachfield salon, Harbour Crystals, The Harbourside Cafe and Thornes for their donations to the raffle.
