We attended the annual National Carers UK conference in July 2018. We were very excited this year as were presenting at one of the break out sessions –‘Learning and Development for Carers’. Our session was packed with standing room only and we received some great feedback from the people attending and later from of Carers UK. This was a fantastic opportunity for us to show the rest of the country what we do.
‘Cracking presentation. Standing room only tells you something about the value of the topic and what you had to say. Good to demonstrate outcomes as well for all those delivering services, or commissioning them. Demonstrating outcomes is always the question that others ask of every piece of practice and I particularly liked the follow-up after six months.
