Connecting Communities for Carers

Half day course

Four day course | 10:00am – 1.00pm
The Connecting Communities project aims to support the wider community to re-engage and connect with existing resources and activities that help reduce social isolation and improve health and wellbeing. To help prepare to take those first steps, we invite carers to join a free Veteran-Led confidence and resilience programmes to support carers to embrace new opportunities and adopt positive change.

Each session is designed to support carers to recognize their value within the community and discover what they can gain from it, breaking down barriers, improving confidence and regain a sense of purpose and self-worth. In doing so, we help carers to look at things differently and focus on what they can do rather than what they can’t do. The project is available to all ages and abilities and there is no requirement to be a veteran to take part.
£20 M&S voucher for all participants.
